CC

CC is Google Labs' experimental logistics agent, and on 17 September 2026 it stopped being a solo tool. The original CC, launched in December 2025, connected one person's Gmail, Calendar and Drive and mailed them a "Your Day Ahead" brief each morning; that single-user briefing later graduated into the Gemini app as Daily Brief. The September release turns CC into something a household shares.

Up to six members can now join one CC through a dedicated Google account. CC reads across the group's mail and calendars, sorts what it finds, and produces one shared daily brief covering everybody rather than a private digest per person. Events it spots in email are created and tracked on the calendar automatically, and tasks land on a shared list instead of in one inbox.

Where it differs from a shared calendar is that CC will do the chore, not just surface it. Google's examples are the ones that actually eat a parent's week: filling in a school permission slip or an activity registration PDF, building a school-supply shopping list, and drafting a weekly meal plan in Google Chat. An "Auto cc CC" behaviour lets the agent filter incoming mail and share the relevant items with the household by itself, and a shared memory keeps standing family context — who does the Tuesday pickup, which allergies matter — available to every member.

It integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Docs and Drive.

Availability. Web and mobile, United States only, for individuals aged 18 or over with a personal Google account; new households join a waitlist, and existing CC users are being emailed about upgrading. Google has said Canada, Australia and New Zealand will get waitlist access when CC reaches those countries. Google has not published a price for the household version — CC remains a Labs experiment rather than a shipped product, so both its behaviour and its availability can change.
