Description
DeepScribe is an ambient AI medical scribe aimed at specialty medicine rather than general primary care. A clinician selects the patient from the schedule, records the visit on desktop or iPhone, and DeepScribe drafts a complete note that lands in the EHR for review and sign-off. It is tuned for complex specialties such as oncology, urology and cardiology, where notes depend on specialty terminology and on the patient's history over many visits.
The notes adapt to the individual clinician: DeepScribe learns structure and phrasing from past notes, adjusts to the visit type and patient context, and applies every edit to future notes. Clinicians can also write customisation rules in plain language instead of filing support tickets. Around the visit itself, SmartPrep (April 2026) assembles pre-visit intelligence before the patient arrives, and DeepScribe Assist surfaces real-time insights at the point of care. It integrates with the leading EHRs and with specialty platforms, including an embedded experience in OncoEMR.
DeepScribe reports a 99.92% note approval rating and a 1.6-minute average chart closure time, and cites a 99.5 KLAS rating. It is sold to practices and health systems; pricing is not published.
