Description
Heidi is an ambient clinical scribe built to be adopted by a clinician on a Tuesday afternoon rather than through a twelve-month procurement. It records a consultation, in person or by telehealth, and produces the note.
What it does
- Transcribes and structures consultations into notes using templates for the specialty and setting
- Generates documents beyond the note — referral letters, discharge summaries, patient instructions — from the same conversation
- Custom templates so the output matches how you actually document
- Works with any workflow. Browser, desktop, and mobile, with copy-out to any EHR and deeper integrations available
- Multilingual consultations and output
Adoption model
The individual free tier is the notable part: a clinician can sign up and use it without an institutional decision, which is why it has spread through word of mouth across primary care, allied health, and specialist practice. Paid plans add unlimited transcription, custom templates, and team features; enterprise deployments add integration and administration.
Heidi is built for clinical use with the compliance posture that requires, and every output is a draft the clinician reviews before it enters the record.
