Description
Ginger is an AI writing assistant from Ginger Software focused on English. It corrects grammar, spelling and punctuation in context rather than word by word, so a garbled line such as a run of misspellings is fixed as a whole sentence, and it offers a sentence rephraser, translation, an English dictionary and a Personal Trainer that turns your own recurring mistakes into practice exercises.
The Windows desktop app checks text from any application in one click and installs an integrated add-in for Microsoft Word and Outlook; there is also a Mac app, extensions for Chrome and Edge, the Ginger Writer apps for iOS and Android, and an Android keyboard. Ginger publishes guidance for writers with dyslexia and offers business and education plans and a grammar API.
The core checker is free; a Premium subscription unlocks unlimited corrections and the advanced writing features.
