Description
UXPin is a design and prototyping tool built on code rather than vector drawings. Teams wireframe, design and prototype on one canvas, then move from early wireframes to high-fidelity, interactive prototypes with conditional logic, variables, expressions and states, without switching tools. With UXPin Merge, designers work with the same React components developers ship, either from built-in coded libraries (MUI, shadcn/ui, Ant Design, Bootstrap) or a team's own library synced from Git or Storybook, and the result exports as production-ready JSX.
Forge, the AI
Forge is UXPin's AI for generating, editing and reviewing UI. Described in plain language, or from an uploaded image such as a rough wireframe or screenshot, it builds layouts from the component library in your project, with real props and variants, rather than generic shapes. You can refine results with follow-up prompts or by hand, review suggested changes before applying them, and keep the conversation history per project. An August 2026 update added a Best or Eco model toggle, MUI 9 support and slash-command tools such as image search and URL fetch.
Wire
Wire, launched in June 2026 and powered by Forge, turns components or screens into a working React app: connect screens, add routing, form validation and logic, then share a hosted link or export a Vite + React project with components, hooks and styles. A built-in code editor stays in sync with the AI playground, and a static landing-page mode outputs plain HTML.
Who it is for and pricing
UXPin targets product designers, developers and enterprise design-system teams that want designs and code to stay in step. It runs in the browser with desktop apps for Mac and Windows. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial; there is no free tier. Core is $49 per seat per month ($29 billed yearly) with 200 AI credits, Growth is $69 ($40 yearly) with 500 credits, design systems, Storybook and SSO, and Enterprise is custom-priced with Git integration and custom-library AI. Extra AI credits are sold as monthly add-ons.
