Sourcetable

Sourcetable is a browser-based spreadsheet built around an AI assistant, aimed at analysts, operators, founders and finance teams who live in spreadsheets but need more than formulas. Instead of exporting CSVs, you connect sources directly: databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, ClickHouse, DuckDB and Supabase, and business tools such as Stripe, Notion, GA4, Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

In the sheet you ask questions in plain English and the assistant cleans and reshapes data, writes or fixes formulas, builds pivots, generates charts from a prompt, writes SQL, and produces financial models and Excel templates. A Python toolkit (pandas, SciPy, StatsModels, Matplotlib, Plotly) sits behind it for analysis that formulas cannot express, and higher tiers add a Deep Research mode, a SQL editor and query library, and agent features for recurring reports and dashboards.

The vendor states that the models are not trained on customer data and lists SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA and PCI compliance, with cloud or on-premises deployment for enterprises.

A free Regular plan includes 50 credits a month. Pro costs $29 per user per month with 2,000 credits, Max costs $100 per user per month with 6,000 credits, extra credits can be bought and do not expire, and students get an education discount.
