Quadratic

Quadratic is a browser-based spreadsheet where the analysis is done in code rather than nested formulas. You ask a question in plain English and its AI writes the Python, SQL, JavaScript or formula that answers it, runs it in a cell and returns the result to the grid, so every number can be read and checked instead of trusted.

Data comes from CSV, Excel and PDF imports or from live connections: Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, MS SQL, Supabase, Neon and others, plus connectors for QuickBooks, Google Analytics, Mixpanel and Plaid. Queries can be scheduled so a sheet refreshes itself, and the grid is built for large files, with the company claiming fast sorting and filtering at 100 million rows. Python cells render Plotly charts in the sheet, which makes it a practical way to build a dashboard or forecast next to the data it comes from.

Quadratic also speaks the Model Context Protocol, so Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or another MCP client can read and write a live spreadsheet, and it has a REST API for triggering AI runs and editing cells from your own code. In November 2026 it added Word-style documents and PowerPoint-style presentations alongside spreadsheets, with .docx and .pptx import and export.

The Personal plan is free with limited AI usage. Pro costs $18 per user per month billed annually ($20 of AI credits a month) and Business $36 ($40 of credits, on-demand top-ups); Enterprise adds SSO and a self-hosting option.
