LTX Studio

Most AI video tools generate a clip. LTX Studio is built around the thing that comes before and after a clip — the production. It is Lightricks' creative suite for filmmakers, advertisers and in-house studios, and its organising idea is that a project is a sequence of scenes and shots you can direct, not a prompt box you re-roll until something works.

Three ways in

You start from a script (uploaded, and it generates scenes and storyboards), from a concept described in a sentence, or from a single image that anchors the visual direction. From there the project exists as a dynamic storyboard you can restructure, with a timeline editor and sound design for the back half of the process.

Direction, not just generation

The controls are the reason to use it over a bare model endpoint:

• Camera and keyframes — direct shot movement and define motion between keyframes rather than describing it and hoping.
• References — steer outputs with images as well as text.
• Styles — preset visual directions from cinematic to sketch to branded looks, so iteration does not drift.
• Elements — save Characters, Objects and Locations and reuse them, which is what keeps a face or a car consistent from scene to scene. This is the hard problem in AI video and the feature most worth testing first.
• Flows — node-based automation for repeatable pipelines.

Generation modes cover text-to-image, text-to-video, image-to-video, video-to-video, and audio-to-video, plus SDR-to-HDR enhancement and upscaling.

Models

It runs Lightricks' own LTX video models and adds third-party models on the paid tiers — Veo, Kling, Seedance, FLUX, Nano Banana and GPT Image among them — so model choice is a setting inside one project rather than a reason to move tools. LTX-2 is also available on its own as a model and playground, with an API.

Pricing

Credit-based, with a free tier that grants a one-time allocation and a personal-use-only licence — that restriction is the one to read before piloting it for client work. Paid plans add a commercial licence, no watermarking, editing and upscaling tools, and progressively wider model access: Lite (8,000 credits/month), Standard (28,000 credits/month, adds Elements, AI Storyboards, Pitch Decks and the premium image models), and Pro (110,000 credits/month, adds the Veo family, maximum quality settings, three collaborators per project and on-demand credit top-ups). List prices run $15, $35 and $125 per month, with roughly 20% off annual billing and periodic promotions; Enterprise is a custom plan with privacy and onboarding services.

Who it is for

Ad agencies, TV and media networks, brand studios and independent filmmakers who need consistency, revision and hand-off — not a single impressive shot. If you only want one clip, a model playground is cheaper; if you need thirty shots that look like the same film, this is the shape of tool that handles it.
