Topview

Topview is an AI video agent aimed at the awkward middle of video production: the point where you know roughly what the film should be but do not want to build it shot by shot in After Effects.

You start from a script, a reference video, or simply a product URL, and the agent plans the piece rather than generating one clip. It breaks the idea into scenes, writes an outline, and creates the reusable assets a story needs — characters, environments, styles — as named cards you can edit in plain language. Change the description of a character or a location and the shots that reference it update with it, which is the part most single-shot generators leave you to solve by re-rolling prompts.

Everything lives on one canvas: outline, assets, storyboard and the rendered timeline side by side, with a chat panel driving the whole thing. Storyboards can be generated from the outline in a batch, then turned into video per scene, so you can approve the plan before spending credits on renders. A separate product board mode composes e-commerce and ad footage — a model, a set, and a row of products — for marketing work rather than narrative.

Typical uses are short films and serialised drama, launch and marketing videos, and social ads. A companion iPhone and iPad app, Topview: Marketing Video Agent, carries the same agent to mobile.

Pricing is subscription-only, billed annually: Pro at $16/month for 960 credits a year, Business at $44/month for 3,000 credits a year, Ultra at $50/month for 500 credits a month, and Team at $56 per seat per month. There is no free plan. Topview is operated by TOPVIEW PTE. LTD., based in Singapore with a Los Angeles office.
