Agentcard

Agentcard gives AI agents a way to actually pay for things. The problem it addresses is narrow and real: an assistant can search, compare and fill a cart, but the transaction is where it stops, because handing raw card numbers to a model is not an option.

The Agentcard Wallet is a widget you embed in your product. Users add the credit and debit cards they already carry — onboarding is an email code, and the card is spendable in seconds — and the numbers go straight into Agentcard's vault. Neither your application nor the agent ever sees the real PAN; card details are shared with the merchant only at the moment of payment, and the card is destroyed afterwards. Because the purchase runs on the user's own card, their existing miles, points and cash back still accrue, which is a genuine advantage over virtual-card-only approaches.

Users can also issue a fresh Agentcard, accepted anywhere Visa is, as either a single-use card for one purchase or a multi-use card with a spending cap for things like subscriptions. On issued cards you earn 1% of every purchase as interchange, plus any markup you configure from the dashboard.

Approval stays with the human: a charge surfaces in the wallet widget (or in the chat surface itself) and completes on a tap. The Purchase API goes further, resolving a request to a paid receipt in one call on covered stores.

It is reachable three ways — an MCP server that plugs the wallet into Claude, Cursor or a custom agent; a CLI and setup wizard via npx agent-cards; and a REST API covering every card, purchase and approval. Agentcard is Y Combinator-backed. There is a separate Agentcard Personal product for individuals who want to give their own assistant a card, approving each charge from their phone.
