Decawork
Summary
An IT control plane that puts every internal AI agent — whoever built it and in whatever tool — behind one identity, access policy and audit trail.
Description
Decawork addresses a problem that arrives once a company stops piloting AI and starts running it: agents are being built by marketing, recruiting, finance and engineering in a dozen different tools, each with its own credentials, and nobody in IT can say what is running or what it can reach.
Rather than asking teams to rebuild their agents on a single platform, Decawork sits in front of whatever they already use. Agents built in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, n8n, Microsoft Copilot, the Microsoft Agent Framework, the OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI, Gemini or a bespoke stack are all registered into the same control plane.
What it provides
- An agent registry — every agent that is live, who owns it, which team it belongs to, and the skills and tools it can reach, with activity timestamps.
- Scoped access — each agent gets its own identity and short-lived credentials with exact permissions, instead of inheriting a human's long-lived token.
- Approval gates — IT signs off before an agent goes live, and again for sensitive actions.
- A complete audit trail — every action is attributable to a specific agent and to whoever approved it.
Who it is for
IT, security and platform teams at companies where agent development has already gone bottom-up and needs to be brought under governance without shutting it down. The positioning is deliberately permissive: let teams keep building, give IT the controls to approve rather than block.
Availability
Decawork is a Y Combinator-backed company and reports SOC 2. It is sold through a demo rather than self-serve sign-up, and the control plane is versioned publicly (gateway v0.9.4 at launch).
