The big story Funding

Anthropic files to list on Nasdaq as ANT, disclosing $16.3B in first-half revenue

Anthropic filed its S-1 with the SEC on October 26 for a Nasdaq Global Select listing under the ticker ANT; the share count and price range are not set. The prospectus shows $16.3 billion of revenue in the first half of 2026 and an $80.7 billion net loss, $72.4 billion of it an accounting charge on convertible notes, against $3.9 billion of operating cash flow.

Why it matters: For the first time a frontier lab's financials are public, which gives every argument about AI pricing, compute spend and margins a real baseline.
