Zite is an AI app builder aimed at the software a business runs on internally rather than at landing pages: bug trackers, onboarding portals, donation logs, approval queues — the tools that usually end up as a sprawl of spreadsheets because nobody had engineering time to build them properly. You describe what you need and Zite ships a working interface on top of a real database.

Four pieces make up the platform. Apps are the prompt-built interfaces. Zite Database is the shared store underneath them, designed so several apps and forms can read and write one source of truth instead of each keeping its own copy. Workflows handle automation and scheduled jobs — a task that fires every Monday at 9:00, a multi-step process that calls OpenAI, posts to Slack and sends email. Fillout, the form builder the company was originally named after, remains its own product under the Zite umbrella and handles data intake.

The part that matters for agent workflows is MCP. Zite exposes your apps and databases over the Model Context Protocol, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code can query and update your operational data directly — an agent working against the same records your team uses, not a separate export that drifts out of date.

Pricing is flat rather than per-seat, which is the unusual bit: every plan, including the free one, carries unlimited users, editors and apps. The free tier gives 50 monthly credits, one workspace, 5,000 database records, 1,000 workflow runs and 1 GB of attachments. Pro is $20/month ($240 annually) for 100 credits, three workspaces, 100,000 records, 5,000 workflow runs, 10 GB of storage, a custom domain and branding removal. Business is $75/month ($900 annually) for 400 credits, five workspaces, 250,000 records, 50,000 workflow runs, 100 GB of storage plus advanced AI models, fast mode and white-label emails. Team and Enterprise plans are quoted on request.

The company renamed itself from Fillout to Zite in March 2026 and says Zite apps are now in use across small businesses, Fortune 500s and government organisations. It suits operations, marketing and internal-comms teams who need a real system of record and would rather not wait on a development queue to get one.
