Coconote records a lecture and returns study material, not just a transcript. That is the distinction that matters for its audience: a student does not need a verbatim record of ninety minutes, they need notes they can revise from and questions they can test themselves against, and Coconote generates both automatically.

Input can be a live recording or an upload — PDFs, videos, links and documents all work. From that it produces organised notes and a transcript, then generates flashcards, quizzes and study games from the content. An AI chat answers questions against your own notes, and the podcast feature narrates them aloud, which is aimed squarely at students with ADHD or auditory processing differences who retain more from listening than reading. More than 100 languages are supported, and notes sync across iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and the web.
