Description

Grandet is a remote MCP server, with a companion Agent Skill, that answers a question developers ask constantly: what is the cheapest way to call this model? It compares the prices listed on grandet.ai for a given model across official APIs, inference providers and relay sites, then returns the lowest few with the provider, the token group to choose, the price, its unit and the date it was observed.

What it can do
  • Find the cheapest API. Ranks purely by listed price for your model and usage pattern (chat, coding, long output). It does not rate providers or repeat their marketing claims, and it keeps USD credit, CNY credit and cash prices separate rather than mixing them.
  • Find free credit. Lists official free tiers, trial credit and sign-up offers, and notes whether a card, ID check or application is required.
  • Resolve and verify. Tools to resolve model names, quote the evidence behind a price and explain pricing glossary terms.
  • Connect it for you. The Skill can walk through wiring the chosen API into Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, Continue and other clients, backing up config first and writing only after you confirm.
Setup

The server runs at https://grandet.ai/mcp over Streamable HTTP with no sign-up and no API key. In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http grandet https://grandet.ai/mcp. Tools exposed include grandet_find_cheapest_api, grandet_find_free_credits, grandet_resolve_model, grandet_quote_evidence, grandet_glossary and grandet_list_apps. Prices are listed figures, not a statement about quality or reliability.
