Description

The Edi Life OS MCP server connects an AI assistant to Edi Life OS, a self-hosted PHP and MySQL dashboard that combines habits, goals, focus timers, Kanban boards, finances and notes. Through 15 tools you can ask Claude to show your dashboard, create a SMART goal with tasks, mark a habit complete, log an expense or write a note in plain language.

Reads go through one read-only lifeos_query tool (dashboard, goals, tasks, habits, finance summary, expenses, incomes, notes), while writes are separate tools so each gets its own approval prompt and destructive deletes are flagged. The server only calls your instance's token-protected /api/v1 HTTP API: it never touches the database or credentials, rejects redirects and URL credentials, requires HTTPS for remote hosts, and omits secret notes unless explicitly permitted.

It runs locally over stdio on Node.js 22.9 or newer and is published on npm as @edicodes/lifeos-mcp and in the official MCP Registry. You need your own Edi Life OS instance (MIT licensed, Docker or shared hosting) and a dedicated API token of at least 32 characters. Finance amounts are in Toman and habit dates default to Tehran time, which matters for non-Iranian users.
