Description
Droidline lets you test apps on real Android phones, script repetitive tasks, run a shelf of devices, or hand a phone to an AI agent. You install a small companion app on the phone, switch on its accessibility permissions and pair it with a QR code over Wi-Fi. There is no ADB, no USB debugging and no root.
The same command set is exposed everywhere: a Python SDK (pip install droidline), a Node.js and TypeScript SDK, a CLI, an HTTP API and Appium-compatible WebDriver. The MCP adapter (droidline mcp) lets Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other agents look at the phone screen and tap, type or swipe, and you can restrict it with --read-only or a tool allowlist. It also ships a screen inspector that suggests selectors and records scripts, a pytest plugin and device leasing for sharing phones between scripts.
The server is written in Go and needs a PC on Windows, macOS or Linux plus an Android 9 or newer phone. The project is at version 0.1 and is MIT licensed; testing across phone brands is still in progress.
