Description
What it is
VEED is a browser-based video platform from VEED Ltd, a UK company. It now presents itself as an "idea to video" workflow, in which you generate footage, avatars and voices from a prompt and then edit and brand the result in the same project. The main audience is marketers and solo business owners making social content and ads. VEED also has iOS apps and a set of developer APIs.
Key features
- Editing: a timeline editor in the browser with cutting, joining, compression, conversion, text, audio and image overlays, video background removal, and screen, webcam and teleprompter recording.
- Subtitles and translation: auto-generated, styled subtitles, export to SRT, VTT and TXT, video translation and AI dubbing.
- AI generation: text-to-video and image-to-video, VideoGPT, AI avatars, talking photos, lip sync, AI voices and voice cloning, music and image generation, and an AI clip generator for repurposing long videos.
- Clean-up: eye-contact correction, background-noise removal, and removal of silences and filler words.
- Brand and teams: a Brand Kit for fonts, colours, logos, media and custom watermarks, plus ad and video templates and shared team workspaces.
- APIs: developer APIs for Fabric 1.0 (VEED's model that animates an image from a prompt and audio, with lip and head movement), Lip Sync 2.0, subtitles, background removal and green screen. The APIs use usage-based pricing with no minimums.
Who it's for
VEED suits marketing teams, solo founders and creators who need many short, captioned, on-brand videos (UGC-style ads, explainers, product demos and talking-head clips) without a dedicated video editor. Developers can use the API to add lip sync or avatar video to their own products.
Pricing
VEED has a free plan, and exports on it carry a VEED watermark in the corner. Paid tiers remove the watermark and add monthly AI credits that do not roll over. They are billed monthly or yearly and charged per editor seat. The pricing FAQ says all paid plans include unlimited subtitle generation, subject to a 50-hour monthly fair-use limit, while translations count against a per-plan minute allowance. Enterprise plans need at least three users and offer a free trial through sales. Plan prices are shown in local currency where available on veed.io/pricing (checked October 2026) and are not repeated here.
