Description
What it is
Uizard is a browser-based tool for designing and prototyping mobile apps, websites, web apps and tablet apps, aimed largely at people who are not professional designers. The company was founded in 2018 and built its first version in Copenhagen. It joined the online whiteboard company Miro in May 2024. Uizard still runs as a separate product with its own sign-up and plans. Its AI assistant, Autodesigner, generates editable multi-screen designs from a plain-English description.
Key features
- Autodesigner 2.0: choose mobile, tablet or web, describe the project, and Autodesigner generates screens and a theme. A chat panel lets you select any component and describe a change, such as resizing text or recolouring an element, or generate extra screens and new themes.
- Screenshot Scanner: turns a screenshot of an existing app or site into an editable mockup.
- Wireframe Scanner: turns a photo of a hand-drawn wireframe into a digital design.
- Other AI tools: predictive attention heatmaps, automated design reviews, and text and image assistants.
- Prototyping: link screens with clickable hotspots and transitions, and switch a design into wireframe mode. Uizard includes a template library covering app, website and wireframe starting points.
- Collaboration and hand-off: real-time multiplayer editing, comments and shareable links with unlimited free viewers. Paid plans add developer hand-off as CSS and React components. Exports include JPG, PNG and PDF.
Who it's for
Product managers, founders, marketers, consultants and developers who need a clickable mockup to test or pitch an idea without learning a professional design tool. Designers can also use it to rough out concepts quickly. Teams that need detailed, production-grade design systems will probably outgrow it.
Pricing
As listed on Uizard's pricing page in October 2026 (US dollars, billed annually):
- Free: $0. 3 AI generations per month on the older Autodesigner 1.5 engine, 2 projects, up to 5 screens per project and 10 templates. Exports are at 1x resolution only.
- Pro: $12 per month billed annually (the page says annual billing saves 40%). 500 AI generations per month on Autodesigner 2.0, up to 100 projects, private projects, the full template library and React/CSS hand-off.
- Business: $39 per month billed annually. 5,000 AI generations per month, faster generation, a custom brand kit, unlimited projects and priority support.
- Enterprise: custom pricing for teams of 15 or more, with unlimited AI generations, design-system setup and custom billing.
Uizard's blog has had no new posts since mid-2024. The product and pricing page are still live, but development appears to have slowed since the Miro acquisition.
