Port22

Port22 is an iPhone companion for terminal coding agents. It attaches to a Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode session already running on your Mac and streams the transcript to your phone token by token, so you can follow what the agent is thinking, editing and executing without sitting at the desk.

What it does

• Live transcripts. The agent's output is mirrored to the phone as it is produced, not summarised after the fact.
• Remote approvals. When an agent stops to ask permission, Port22 pushes a notification and shows the actual choices the agent offered, so you tap a real option instead of guessing at a keystroke.
• Glanceable status. Dynamic Island indicators and a lock screen widget show whether a session is working, waiting on you, or finished.
• No workflow change. Port22 attaches to your existing terminal session rather than forking a new one, so the agent keeps running exactly as it would have.

How it connects

At your desk the phone talks to the Mac over the local network. Away from it, traffic goes through an end-to-end encrypted relay that forwards ciphertext only and never sees your code. Pairing uses the same Apple ID on both devices, so there is no account to create.

Requirements and pricing

Port22 needs a Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel) running a supported terminal — Ghostty, kitty, Alacritty, WezTerm, tmux or Terminal.app — plus an iPhone. The free tier covers one Mac and two concurrent sessions indefinitely; unlimited sessions are $19.99 per year, and everything is free during the beta.

Port22 suits developers who kick off long agent runs and want to keep an eye on them from a meeting, a commute or the sofa, rather than checking back on a laptop every few minutes.
