Description

Sygal is a desktop document converter for macOS and Windows that turns PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EPUB, images, scans, web pages and even YouTube links into clean Markdown and structured JSON, ready to drop into a prompt, a knowledge base or a RAG pipeline.

Conversion runs on your own machine, so documents stay local. Images and scans go through the OCR provider you choose using your own API key, and URLs you import are fetched from the web. Cleaner Markdown from scans and web pages also means fewer tokens spent when you hand the result to an AI model.

Sygal ships with a command-line interface for scripting and batch jobs. It is sold as a one-time purchase with no subscription and no account, and a 14-day free trial is available for macOS 12+ and Windows 10+.
