Summary

A pay-per-call tool layer for AI agents: one balance and one credential across 1,700+ tools from 55+ providers, reachable as a skill, an MCP server or a CLI.

Description

Monid sits between an agent and the APIs it needs to call. Instead of signing up for each provider, storing a key per service and wiring a client for each one, an agent points at Monid and gets a searchable catalogue of 1,700+ tools across 55+ providers it can discover, compare and invoke at runtime.

Discovery at runtime, not at build time

The catalogue is queryable, and Monid ranks candidate tools by fit and by price, so an agent handed a task it was not explicitly wired for can find something that does the job rather than failing. That is the difference from a static tool list compiled into a prompt: the set of available actions is looked up when the task arrives.

Three ways in

Monid exposes the same catalogue as an agent skill, as an MCP server for any Model Context Protocol client, and as a CLI for shell-driven agents and scripts — so it drops into Claude Code, Cursor, a custom agent loop or a terminal without a different integration for each.

Billing is the actual product

Every call, whichever provider serves it, draws on one Monid balance, and there is no subscription — you are charged only for calls you make, with per-call prices in the low fractions of a cent for many tools (the site's worked example is $0.0013). New accounts start with $1 in free credit. For an agent operator, that collapses 55 vendor relationships, 55 invoices and 55 sets of credentials into one.

Monid Inc is a Delaware C-Corp based in San Francisco. It launched publicly on 2 September 2026 and finished the day as #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
