Summary

One API for meeting bots across Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and Webex — join, record, stream and speak in real time, billed at $0.35 an hour.

Description

Every product that wants an AI notetaker ends up rebuilding the same unglamorous thing: a headless browser that can survive a Zoom waiting room, a Teams lobby and a Google Meet admission prompt, then hold a stable audio and video connection for an hour. MeetStream sells that layer so you do not have to build it.

What it does

One POST /api/v1/bots/create_bot puts a bot in a meeting on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Webex. From there the API gives you the meeting as data: per-participant audio and video streams with speaker attribution, real-time audio over a native WebSocket, async MP4 recordings, participant metadata and lifecycle webhooks, and chat messages in both directions.

The part that separates it from a recorder is output. The bot can speak in the meeting natively, display video, and send images and GIFs — so an agent can be a participant rather than a transcript that arrives afterwards. In-meeting tool calling and MCP support, wake-word or proactive speaking modes, and pluggable STT/LLM/TTS make that practical rather than theoretical.

Pricing

Usage-based, no seats and no platform fee: $0.35 per hour, prorated to the second, dropping to $0.25/hr with volume or startup pricing. Real-time transcription with speaker diarization and multi-language support adds $0.10/hr, or you bring your own provider key at no markup. New accounts get $5 of free credit without a card.

Included at that price: Google and Microsoft calendar integration and auto-join, 30 days of recording storage (or your own S3 bucket), sub-three-second join latency, webhooks across the full bot lifecycle, US and EU data residency, and Slack support on every plan.

For agent builders

MeetStream ships an MCP server and a Claude skill alongside the REST API, so a coding agent can create and drive bots from a terminal without wrapping the HTTP calls first.

Worth knowing

Compliance is GDPR-aligned with SOC 2 under audit at the time of writing; SSO and a HIPAA BAA are available on request. Recording people is a consent question in most jurisdictions before it is a technical one — the platform gives you the lifecycle events to handle disclosure properly, but the obligation stays yours. MeetStream is a 2025-founded company; the meeting bot API is at v2.4.
