Description
Glaze is Raycast's take on building software by conversation: describe the Mac app you want in plain language and an AI agent running Claude Code or Codex under the hood writes and assembles a real, native application that lives on your machine. The result launches instantly, works offline, and supports Mac-specific features like keyboard shortcuts, menu bar access, and background tasks — not a web wrapper. You keep iterating through chat to add features or fix issues, and technical users can drop into the generated code directly. Finished apps stay on-device by default; you can also publish them to a public store, share them unlisted, or distribute them through a private team store. Glaze shipped out of private beta on July 1, 2026 for macOS Tahoe and Apple Silicon, with Windows and Linux planned.
