Summary

Hit record, and Voicenotes transcribes, summarises and indexes what you said — then answers questions about anything you have ever recorded.

Description

Voicenotes is built on the observation that the fastest way to capture a thought is to say it, and the slowest is to type it while walking. You press record — in a meeting, mid-walk, thinking out loud — and it transcribes instantly, summarises what mattered, and files the result somewhere you can interrogate later.

Recall is the real feature. Transcription is table stakes; what makes the app stick is that the archive is queryable. Ask it what you decided about a project three weeks ago, or when someone promised a deadline, and it answers from your own recordings rather than making you scroll a list of audio files. Search runs across everything you have ever recorded, and you can generate content — notes, drafts, summaries — directly out of past recordings.

Coverage and reach. Transcription in over 100 languages. Native apps on iOS, macOS and watchOS, so a thought caught on a wrist makes it into the same archive. Integrations with Notion, Todoist, Readwise, a WhatsApp bot, and Zapier for anything not on that list. Pro includes a Voicenotes MCP server, which is the unusual part — it lets Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP-capable assistants query your notes archive directly as a tool.

Pricing. The free tier gives unlimited recordings but caps transcription at 100 minutes a week across meetings, memos and dictation, with 30 days of history. Pro at $9 per user per month removes both caps and adds real-time notes and live transcription, unlimited audio imports and storage, unlimited history, the MCP server and the advanced integrations. Enterprise at $24 per user per month adds SSO and SCIM, consent management with compliance tracking, admin controls over sharing, custom CRM and dialer integrations, a dedicated success manager, and a guarantee of zero model training on your data.

4.8 average on the App Store. Built by Coping Hard Inc.
