Description
Olostep is a web data API for teams whose real problem is not fetching a page but getting something an LLM can read out of it. A single endpoint set covers scraping one URL, crawling a site, mapping its structure, searching the open web, and watching a page for changes — each returning clean markdown or structured JSON rather than raw HTML you then have to strip.
The hard parts of production scraping are handled server-side: JavaScript rendering for single-page apps, residential IP rotation, and high concurrency so a batch job does not become a queue. That makes it a fit for the jobs that keep appearing behind agent products — grounding a RAG index in live sources, enriching CRM records from company sites, monitoring competitor pricing, and giving a coding or research agent a way to read the web at request time.
It is positioned squarely on cost against the better-known crawling APIs, and the pricing reflects that. A free trial covers 500 requests with JS rendering and residential IPs and needs no credit card. Paid plans run from Starter at $9/month for 5,000 requests and 150 concurrent requests, through Standard at $99/month for 200,000 requests, to Scale at $399/month for a million requests plus AI-driven browser automation; enterprise volumes are quoted. Top-up credit packs are sold separately, from $20 for 10,000 credits to $1,000 for 2 million.
