Cleanvoice

What it is

Cleanvoice is a web-based AI editor for spoken audio and video. You upload a podcast episode, interview, voiceover or other recording, and it automatically removes the parts that are tedious to cut by hand: filler words, stutters, long silences, mouth sounds, breaths and background noise. You can then download the cleaned file, or export the edits as a timeline and finish the job in your own editor.

• Automatic cleanup: removes filler words ("um", "uh", "like") and stutters, cuts dead air and long pauses, and strips mouth clicks, breaths and background noise, hum and echo.
• Studio Sound enhancer: an audio enhancer that the company says lifts a raw take closer to studio quality.
• Multitrack editing: upload a separate track for each speaker, and Cleanvoice applies the same cuts to every track in one pass so they stay in sync.
• Video podcasts: the same edits work on video files.
• Timeline export: every cut comes back as an editable timeline. The site shows exports to Adobe Audition, Audacity, DaVinci Resolve, Reaper and Ultraschall.
• Transcription and summaries: generates a transcript and episode summary from the recording.
• Imports: upload from your device, Dropbox, Google Drive or a link, or record in the browser.
• API: a REST API with Python and JavaScript SDKs for automating the same processing.
• Data handling: the company says it is GDPR compliant, stores data in the EU and is ISO 27001 certified.

Pricing

Every plan includes all features. Prices below were listed on the pricing page in October 2026, excluding VAT:

• Free trial: 30 minutes of processed audio, no credit card required.
• Pay as you go: prepaid credits that stay valid for 2 years. $11 (€10) for 5 hours, $20 (€18) for 10 hours, or $45 (€40) for 30 hours.
• Subscription: $11 (€10) per month for 10 hours, $28 (€26) per month for 30 hours, or $90 (€85) per month for 100 hours. Yearly billing costs $110, $300 or $900 per year. Unused credits roll over, up to three times the plan's monthly limit.
• Custom: for 200+ hours a month, with custom API endpoints and priority support. You book a call to get a quote.
