Black Forest Labs builds the FLUX family of image models. Founded by researchers who worked on the original latent diffusion and Stable Diffusion work, the lab has become the default choice for teams that want state-of-the-art image generation they can actually deploy.

Use the models through the BFL API directly, through partner inference platforms, or self-host the open weights. Pricing is per generation, with credits available for evaluation. If you are building anything that makes images, this is the model family to benchmark against.
